February is almost over, and that means a new season is on the verge becoming a reality. Detroiters have nearly survived the cold dark Michigan winter and change is on the horizon. The Detroit concert scene is also serving as a mimicry of the changing of the season with a new lineup for Child Bite, new hope for health care in Ferndale, and some of the hottest experimental pop acts sharing the stage. This weekend in Detroit concerts is proving to be one of the greatest, the perfect preview of what should be a bad ass spring, and a great appetizer for the main course that will be the Hamtramck Blowout 2010. See some of the hardest working Detroit bands play their warm-up before the largest local show of the year this weekend all over the tri-county area.
