The Hadituptoheres are not one of those Detroit music acts that spend their time in coffee shops assessing the music world with clever quips and pretentious speech. The Hadituptoheres go out and bravely attempt to change the shape and fate of the Detroit underground music scene one listener at a time. Relentless instrumentals and lyrics that perfectly depict the frustration of living in the middle of urban sprawl in a music industry that looks down upon intuition, one can easily see how the Hadituptoheres got their name.

A quote from their Myspace page just about sums it up:

We are The Hadituptoheres.
We’ve had it up to here with rock ‘n’ roll and we came to take it out on you.
We started a band.
We started to rock.
We will continue.

An onslaught of rock and roll fused with raw punk makes the Hadituptoheres the perfect example of the Detroit underground music genres coming together in epic fashion. Describing themselves as raucous noise death pop, the Hadits are using the influence of proto-punk bands and punk savants of the current Detroit underground and creating their own unique style of aggressive punk rock.

Their Debut release titled The Hadituptoheres….are Bringing the Hammer Down released in 2006 was the first glimpse into the music of a band clearly distraught over the state of their city and current music, while giving listeners profound insight into what it’s like living in the D. August 2009 marked the release of their second album titled Wild City Honest Dancing and continue to channel the old school styles of the Stooges, Black Flag, etc.

Check out the Hadituptoheres as they bring old school punk back to the Detroit underground in epic fashion. As long as there are pissed off kids, cheap instruments, and garages, there will be bands like the Hadituptoheres going against the current of popular music.
