Nestled in the Detroit Metro suburb of Berkley, the Berkley Front has a similar layout to popular Detroit venues such as the Magic Stick. The bar downstairs is home to a plethora of affordable drinks while the upstairs hosts some of the hottest Detroit acts. Fun for all ages, the midday crowd is a bit older, but once the sun goes down the Berkley Front is the place for the young and hip crowd. Enjoy local microbrews from Atwater and the Motor City Brewing Company in an eclectically decorated atmosphere downstairs, and a more dark and avant garde layout upstairs. An eclectic mix of ‘radio’ music fills the ears of downstairs patrons, while the upstairs hosts live weekend acts of a local variety – everything from folk-rock to alternative.

The Berkley Front is revered in the Detroit area for its beer selection as well as its eclectic atmosphere makes it a great place for concert goers, beer snobs, or the casual mingler. Sometimes considered a nondescript dive bar, the front has a few pool tables, some dartboards, a few video games, and some TVs downstairs along with the wide beer selection, and the hipper more abstract upstairs passes for a scene bar quite nicely.
